yes - that will work - if you specify the gate width I can frame it in - or I can just make it one piece about 4' tall without a frame

Will the file be compatible for both plasma and water cutters? Or do they use different file types?

they're the same - waterjet can have a smaller kerf so it can cut smaller overall - I size things for .05" kerf clearance
